April 3, 2022 A quarter mile portion of the trail along CR120 was trimmed by Spot Adopt-a-Trail volunteers and SPOT Board members.The trail was cleared of brush along the fence line at the dip in the road and trail just west of Salida, restoring the trail width and making it safer for both trail users and automobile drivers. Thank you to Franz Wuerfmannsdobler, Chrisrian Koch and his chldren, Henry and Colette, Susan Roebuck, Chris Miller and Donna Rhoads.
McCormick Park is “adopted” by the Chaffee County Department of Human Services (DHS).
A huge thank you to Mandy Jackson, DHS Chaffee County Benefits Team Lead, and three Cotopaxi High School seniors for their community service, which helps qualify them for high school graduation.
