It’s a tradition in Chaffee County to hold a Clean-up Green-up each spring. Sponsored by Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area (AHRA) and Greater Arkansas River Nature Association (GARNA), SPOT Adopt-a-Trail and community volunteers help clean up areas along the banks of the Arkansas River, its adjoining public lands and the Salida Trail System.
